Our Mission
The CASA of Vermillion County Program will advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected
children (CHINS) within the Vermillion Circuit Court. This advocacy is based on the belief that children
are entitled to a safe and permanent home. CASA works as an adjunct to the juvenile court system by
utilizing trained volunteers, in collaboration with key agencies and community resources to serve as the
child’s advocate and to provide vital information to the Judge of the Vermillion Circuit Court.
