Robin Calvin
Robin Calvin resides in Vermillion County with her spouse of 25 years. She and her husband have 3
children. She is a member of Coal Branch Church and is affiliated with West Liberty
Church. Robin studied at DACC and Lakeview College of Nursing, earning an Art & Science Degree, and is
currently enrolled in classes towards Nursing. Robin also participated in Purdue Extension’s Community
Leadership program.
She has worked at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village and Colonial Manor Nursing Homes, United
Samaritans Medical Center, North Vermillion Elementary (NVE), and operated a private daycare.
Robin previously volunteered as a PTO president and a Girl Scout leader at NVE,  and actively volunteers
with the local food pantry, 4-H, school functions, and church activities. In addition, Robin serves as the
Vice President of Vermillion County Homemakers and is also a member of Perrysville Homemakers



Betty Killebrew
Betty Killebrew is a lifelong resident of Clinton. She is the mother of three sons and grandmother of
eight boys and girls. Until her retirement she worked many years at The Daily Clintonian newspaper as a
bookkeeper. After retirement, until recently, she continued working at the newspaper office part time
as a proofreader. Betty studied Tae Kwon Do and attained the level of third degree black belt. Her
volunteer experiences over the years include being an officer for Vermillon County Community Theater
and volunteering for the American Cancer Society. She also served as a Cub Scout leader and a Tae Kwon
Do instructor for young children. For the last twenty years, she has enjoyed her hobby of writing short
stories, poetry and novels, publishing her works first in a quarterly magazine and later on Amazon.
Through her experiences, Betty has developed the ability to easily befriend children. As she is no longer
employed, she is looking forward to devoting time to advocating for children in the Vermillion County
CASA program.



Megan Miller
Megan is the mother of four children. She and her husband enjoy residing in Vermillion County, and
attend the Bono United Methodist Church. Megan maintains a busy schedule with her children’s
activities, and loves watching them during their sporting events. She has had experience with the CASA
network as she previously served as a volunteer in Parke County. Megan was extremely excited when
she found out that Vermillion County was developing a CASA program, and is thrilled to make a
difference in the lives of children in her community.
Sandy Rollins:
Sandy joined the CASA team in 2019 bringing with her prior years of experience in foster care with the
Department of Children and Family Services in Vermilion County, IL In addition, she served as a
Community Living Specialist working with developmentally disabled adults for Lutheran Social Services in Janesville, WI.

Sandy lives in the rural countryside of Indiana with her husband, Larry, of 30 years.
She enjoys serving at her church, West Liberty Church of Christ, reading, playing boardgames with her
grandkids, traveling with family and road trips with her best friend. Sandy is enthusiastic and committed
to advocating for the best interest of children.


Lynida Ross
Lynida has been married for 25 years, and is the mother of two boys. She has always been very active in
the community and has volunteered for several organizations. Currently, she is the President of the
Vermillion County Homemakers and the President of the Perrysville Homemakers. Lynida is always
grateful for the opportunity to serve others, especially when it comes to children. She is excited for this
new journey of serving in an area where there is dire need of making a positive impact in children’s lives.
Mary Beth Walsh:
Mary Beth was born and raised in Northwest IN. She graduated from Lake Central High School in St.
John, IN in 1978 and Purdue University in 1983 with a BA in Recreation Management. Mary Beth been
married 34 years to Kerry Walsh who retired in 2018 after 35 years of teaching, most recently at South
Vermilion High School. They have lived in Clinton, IN for 31 years and Flora, IN for three years. Mary
Beth and Kerry have two sons, Alex, 31 and Andy, 27 who both graduated from SVHS. In 1999 Mary Beth
worked to bring back the 4th of July fireworks to Clinton after 22 years. She worked as a Substitute
Teacher for 39 years in 6 school corporations and 8 years as Behavior Modification Instructor at South
Vermilion Middle School. Mary Beth loves traveling, camping, biking, reading, playing games and
spending time with family and friends.  She has a passion for helping others in any way she can, and
being a CASA volunteer is something she has wanted to be involved with for many years.


Dana Vicars
Dana Vicars has always had a passion for children. She is the mother of four grown children,
grandmother to two granddaughters, and aunt to countless nieces and nephews. Dana also spent
several enjoyable years working at North Vermillion Elementary School. She would share that her dream
has always been to be a wife and mother. Thirty years into her marriage, with her own children living
independent lives, she was left with the desire to impact the lives of children in a new way. This led her
to pursue becoming a CASA volunteer. Dana is excited to advocate for and support children from
Vermillion County in this new way.
